You can view deals from a specific location or check out all of the routes currently on sale. Once you select your desired route, JetBlue will direct you to its low-fare calendar to pick your dates.

Although the sale is marketed as a deal for one-way fares, depending on the route, you may be able to stack two one-way tickets or book a round trip as normal and still get discounted rates.

Sale fares are for Blue Basic, the airline’s most restrictive class. It does not allow changes to itineraries and will incur a fee should you need to cancel — so consider upgrading for further flexibility.

Neither Blue Basic nor Blue fares include checked baggage, so factor in an additional $35 for your first bag and $45 for your second if necessary. But, if you add bags to your reservation in advance, you can save $10 off your first two.

Maximize your purchase

If you book this deal, use a card that earns bonus points on airfare purchases. Frequent JetBlue flyers can use the JetBlue Plus Card for 6 points per dollar on eligible JetBlue purchases, the JetBlue Card for 3 points per dollar on eligible JetBlue purchases or the JetBlue Business Card for 6 points per dollar on eligible JetBlue purchases.

Otherwise, try The Platinum Card® from American Express (5 points per dollar on airfare booked directly with the airline or through American Express Travel, on up to $500,000 on these purchases per calendar year, then 1 point per dollar), Chase Sapphire Reserve® (3 points per dollar on airfare), American Express® Gold Card (3 points per dollar on airfare when booked directly with the airline or through Amex Travel), the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (2 points per dollar on travel) or Citi Strata Premier Card (see rates and fees; 3 points per dollar spent on air travel).

The information for the JetBlue Plus Card, JetBlue Card and Jet Blue Business Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Bottom line

There’s less than a day to book one-way JetBlue fares for as low as $39 across its network for travel from November through mid-February.

Fares are available across the U.S., as well as some Caribbean destinations, including Belize, Costa Rica and beyond.
